Loving Repeating is a look into the 2022 exhibition of new work by the visionary artist duo Dutes Miller and Stan Shellabarger, at Hyde Park Art Center. The exhibition encouraged reflection on themes like love, time, and human vulnerability through a collection of immersive installations, performance art, and visual works made in response to the COVID-19 pandemic by the husband-and-husband team. Two essays by Allison Peters Quinn, Director of Exhibitions & Residencies at Hyde Park Art Center, and Dr. Myron M. Beasley, a scholar, curator, and performance artist are followed by photo documentation, an exhibition checklist, and a biography of the artists.
